Somewhere to turn is our mental health information and sign posting service. We offer adults living in south East and Central Essex a point of contact, for those who are unsure of where to find help with their mental health. Our experienced staff and volunteers answer enquiries at the Jubilee Centre, via email or over the telephone. This includes a 20 minute ‘discussion about individuals personal circumstances and sign posting to local and national services that may be able to help

The service is free and open to anyone looking for help and support with a mental health problem and can be accessed by emailing ies@seandcessexmind.org.uk , telephoning the office at 01702 601123, or visiting the Jubilee Centre, 112a Southchurch Road, Southend-on-Sea between 10am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

Chelmsford Open Door Service

The Dove Open Door service offers free help and support in managing mental health difficulties in Chelmsford. It offers adults the opportunity to share with volunteers and peers to gain help and support. There is an opportunity to learn new skills in understanding and managing emotional difficulties and time to relax, enjoy and create with others.

 

The Dove Open Door service in Chelmsford is run by local volunteers who have had a commitment in supporting people with mental health difficulties.

The service is open every Monday morning (10am to 12) and Friday afternoons (2pm to 4pm). You can contact us by leaving a message on 07585058574 and someone will get back to you.
