Mental Elf Run 2019

Our Mental Elf Fun Run returns!
A woodland run with an emphasis on fun — It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned runner or prefer a stroll in the park, the event is for everyone!

Whether you want to run, skip, hop or jog your way across the finish line we really appreciate your help in raising vital funds that allow us to continue doing what we do. South East and Central Essex Mind’s vision is mental wellbeing for all: we want everyone in our part of Essex to be aware of and know how to improve their wellbeing. Regular physical activity is associated with lower rates of depression and anxiety. An active lifestyle not only keeps our bodies healthy, but it makes us feel good too! By taking part in the Mental Elf Run, people boost their own wellbeing as well as helping others across South East Essex. The Mental elf run will take place on Saturday 7th December at Belfair’s Woods in Leigh-on-Sea.

We are in need of volunteers to help make this event a success - if you are able to give any time, please get in touch. No previous experience needed!

We want this event to be ecologically-friendly and it is essential we protect our local woodlands. Water will be available but we are encouraging people to bring their own to reduce the amount of plastic waste we produce.
