Could you be a Peer Supporter?

We are calling out for people who can work 1:1 with people experiencing mental health difficulties. The service enables those people who have lived experience of mental health services to become positive role models for those who are currently stuck but want to move forward to improve their quality of life.

In the last few months, we have experienced a spike in the number of people applying to receive a Peer Supporter and are struggling to keep up with demand. We have had to cut the service down quite drastically to get us through this influx and we currently have a growing waiting list.

You will be working 1:1 with people who need your empathic support and this could be for up to 6 months. The hours are to suit, all we hope is that the role is embraced and taken on with compassion in mind.
