South East and Central Essex Mind have just launched a brand new help service for people experiencing mental health issues. The local mental health charity will be supplying mental health signposting, guidance and information for the over 18’s of South East and Central Essex through their new Somewhere to Turn service.
Jessica Wing says “I’m excited for the public to be aware of our service – so many people aren’t aware of the plethora of services out there that can help them. Somewhere to turn is for those who don’t know where to start and those who aren’t sure what to try next, whether it’s for yourself, friends/family, or even a client. Let’s start a conversation; speak to a member of the team about your mental health.”
The service will be mostly given over phone and email but residents of Southend will also be able to drop-in the Jubilee Centre on Southchurch Road.
To request mental health signposting, information and advice, please drop in, email or ring them between 10:00am and 3:00pm Monday to Friday every week by ringing 01702 601123 or 01245 345083, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or dropping in to the Jubilee centre on 112a Southchurch Road in Southend (postcode SS1 2LX)
