Counselling Self-Referral

If you are 18+ you can self-refer to our counselling services without having to go through your GP first.
We offer subsidised rates of £24 for online/telephone sessions and £32 for in-person sessions.

We are not a crisis service - if you think you may act on suicidal feelings or may seriously harm yourself, you need urgent medical help.

What is counselling?

 

Counselling, often known as 'talking therapy', provides skilled listening in a safe and confidential environment. Our Counselling Services offer a safe and confidential place to help people have their thoughts heard in sensitive and non-judgemental way.⁠

If you are in need of a confidential and non-judgemental space to talk about your mental wellbeing, for whatever reason, you are able to refer yourself to our counselling service.⁠ ⁠

 

Counselling can help if you are experiencing:

  • Anxiety issues and Generalised Anxiety Disorder

  • Depression

  • Confidence and Self-Esteem issues

  • Bereavement

  • Pre, Peri and Post-natal depression

  • Anger management issues

  • Phobias

  • Relationship problems (Please note we do not offer couples counselling)

  • Work-related Stress

  • Issues linked to identifying as LGBTQ+

  • A clinically-diagnosed mental health condition such as Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and Personality Disorders.

  • Self-harm

  • Recovery from substance misuse issues

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

  • Eating Disorders
