Fundraising!

How your money helps…

Moments-Unsplash (2).jpg

We rely entirely on fundraising and donations in order to keep our vital local services running. We do not receive any money from National Mind or the government so every penny really does make a difference to helping us support the local community.

£100

could help us provide a one-to-one specialist counselling sessions for a teenager or child in need.

£500

Could help fund peer support group sessions, offering a pathway to recovery for those who have experienced a traumatic event in their lives.

£1000

Could help provide the care and support needed for someone recovering from a mental health crisis at our supported housing facility.

Who your fundraising could help:

  • Adults in need of or currently receiving counselling

  • Young people and children attending specialist counselling

  • Members of the public accessing our free Somewhere To Turn signposting service

  • People accessing community housing

  • Tenants staying in our supported housing

  • Those in search of mental health training and education, including schools and fellow charities

I’m part of a corporate organisation looking to fundraise…

By partnering with a small local charity like SECE Mind you can help make a real difference to the lives of people in our community. Around 1 in 4 of us will suffer with mental health issues at some points in our lives – this could be yourself, your colleagues, your friends or loved ones.

Supporting us will help meet your corporate and social responsibility needs as a company. Through engaging with your employees, customers and other stakeholders, you'll see a positive impact on everyone involved – knowing that all your efforts are going to help people in mental distress.

There are lots of ways we can work with you – from organising team and personal challenges for your staff, to offering mental health training.

If you'd like to talk to us about how we could work together, please give us a call on 01702 601123 or email fundraising@secemind.org.uk
