Many of us have been spending a lot more time at time at home to help limit the spread of coronavirus and keep us safe. Many charities have been affected by the cancellation of mass participation and community fundraising events, and have lost income which is vital to continuing to provide support to those who need it.To look after our wellbeing, there are lots of activities we can do without going out that are fun and help us feel good - including crafting!
What is Virtual Crafternoon? Normally, our Crafternoons are a fundraiser that asks supporters to get together and hold an afternoon of crafting with friends and family, bringing people together and fundraising at the same time. Although we are now able to spend more time out of the house, or meet up with friends and families, it is likely that we will still be using online platforms to socialise for some time.
We’ve developed a ‘Host your own Virtual Crafternoon’ guide to provide people with a fun way to fundraise while also focussing on their own wellbeing and connecting with others – and we want to share it with you.
All you need to do is download our step-by-step guide, which will tell you everything you need to know about hosting. Download a Virtual Crafternoon Guide
