Here is Sarah, one of our Volunteer Counsellors, talking more about volunteering...
"I’m Sarah Ward, a counsellor in private practice, but I’ve also volunteered for South East and Central Essex Mind for the last two years. Why? Well, volunteering is more than just helping a charity. It’s being part of a team. It’s giving your time, as little or as much as you want, but it also boosts your own self-esteem and morale. You don’t have to be a counsellor, there are lots of other roles, so do yourself a favour, do us a favour, and get in touch with South East and Central Essex Mind."
If you are interested in volunteering with us in some way in the future, please check out our volunteer page for more information and opportunities.
