"Our mission is to ensure everyone susceptible to or experiencing mental health issues is given all the help, support and guidance needed to enable them to cope more easily and effectively and to intervene as early as possible to ease the situation for those people and their families"
In these unprecedented times, we still strive for this mission and are doing all we can to support individuals, whilst keeping them, our staff and volunteers safe.
Although we are affiliated to national Mind we are responsible for running and funding our own local services. Due to the impact of COVID-19 we have needed to cancel all of our planned fundraising events and many of our supporters have had to delay their fundraising efforts too.
Please consider supporting us and the local community during these unprecedented times by donating to our COVID-19 Appeal for Local Mental Health Services.
Could help print information booklets and publicity so local people can get help
Could help fund a trauma peer support group meeting
£20 Could help provide a one-to-one counselling session for someone struggling with their mental health
£30 Could help provide specialist counselling for a teenager or child in need
Could help someone recovering from a mental health crisis at our supported housing facility
If you can make a donation, however small, it will help us keep our vital mental health support going in order to help those in need during these difficult times.
