What:
South East and Central Essex Mind offers volunteer opportunities for students as well as qualified counsellors who have completed a BACP recognised counselling diploma course, in our Southend office. South East and Central Essex Mind is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and as such works in accordance with their ethical guidelines.
**We are now accepting applications from Student Counsellors.** Before submitting your Application Form and CV please read the Volunteer Student Counsellor Role Description to ensure you meet our requirements. Please note we will have a limited number of opportunities available.
When:
A minimum of 2 clients a week, days and times are dependent on the availability of rooms.

As you would be volunteering in the same office as vulnerable people, we will require a satisfactory DBS and references
