Who’s Who at South East and Central Essex Mind
As a local mental health charity, South East and Central Essex Mind is one of 160 affiliated members of Mind, each being an independent charity run by local people, for local people and responsible for its own funding and the services it provides.
South East and Central Essex Mind has two offices, in Southchurch Road, Southend on Sea and Legg Street in Chelmsford. We employ 35 members of staff, who are supported by 20 volunteers.
This year we aim to increase the number of volunteers to 40.
Staff and volunteers
South East and Central Essex Mind is focused on the provision of high quality services which meet people needs, in a time and manner which suits them.
To achieve this, we recruit staff who are specialists in their fields and provide on-going training to them and our team of volunteers to ensure we can meet the needs of our service users.
